Congrat’s to Tony Stewart (**The 4th win of 2007!!) and “**why are they looking under the car with a flashlight?” Jeff Gordon! Alas…I am once again in the Burnt River Canyon and must leave to the wilds of the mining world of rocks and tunnels and gold and gems in a few minutes, and will have no sat signal to find out until probably tomorrow or worse…(scary!!) Sunday. Or maybe I will just go home. The air here makes me better. I think the only reason I was sick is because I was in the city with the lovely inversion and pollution. I was fine as soon as we got here.
Dale Jr. came back after that spin, with an awesome run!! Way to go!!
I was also very happy that Mikey earned his way in the way he should have and was humble and pensive about the “issues” that have arisen. He is acting as I would expect him to as a fine human being with true character would. I was sweating on Front row Joe. Whew!! Mike Wallace fought like heck and pulled it off. I was sorry Brian Vickers got wiped out and Juan Pablo Montoya wasn’t able to stay in the race. I think he just didn’t feel that tire. Oh well, he’s in . I think I will call him John Paul, or the Pope. Isn’t he almost a Pope in the auto racing world? I am sure I will offend someone eventually this yea, so I may as well start now.
Robby? Ouch. Darn. Oh well.
I was really rooting for my 72 year old hero, James Hylton. I was sick that Ward Burton didn’t make it.
Well LugNutz!! The time has come! It was great today and can only get better on Sunday and through the rest of the season.
My picks of the top 12 to move into the Chase in 2007, according to the Astrological data of all the drivers ( Yes I have looked at all of them. ) and the events of NASCAR as an entity of it’s own?
NASCAR is going to be more controversial than ever this year.
Toyota is going to change this sport. We will find out how smart the Widow Earnhardt really is.
Top 12 Drivers?
1. Tony Stewart
2. Ryan Newman
3. Jeff Gordon
4. Jimmie Johnson
5. Robby Gordon
6. Kevin Harvick
7. Denny Hamlin
8. David Gilliland
9.The Pope John Paul Montoya
10. Kasey Kayne
11. Matt Kenseth
12. Dale Jarrett
Twelve and a half - Kyle or Kurt Busch
**Not in any particular order with the exception of Tony and Ryan being in the top two…oh and Robby and J.P.
In case I am not able to get ’scopes up in detail?
Ryan- Your OK…be careful of “paybacks and tire issues.
Tony- Your on a roll. I think it’s the combination of Kayle and TNT. I think you found your lucky lady. Watch out for Baby Busch.
Jimmy- BAD VIBES. Be very Careful.
D.J. -Looking good
Mikey - Car looks faulty
Jeff Gordon - DNF
Juan Pablo - Careful what you say to the press.
Denny- Stay away from Baby Busch
Kurt- You look good - spank your brother. Knock him out of the race early. He could hurt someone.
Matt - TEMPER ASPECT’S
Kevin - TEMPER ASPECTS
Dale JR. - Looks good but a little shaky in places. Stay away from the 5 car.
Every other Driver? Stay away from the 5 car. His scope is SCARY** bad…evil…mean.
Just knock him out early with out hurting him. Hurt the car bad tho.
OK there’s the Gospel of Daytona according to Clance and Al.
Tally Ho!! Have a great one!!

One of the themes I am seeing over and over in all of the driver’s 6 months scope’s is the “This is the time where choice’s between honesty, integrity and walking fine lines are the main lesson of the year”.
This aspect, Jupiter trine Mars, creates an easy flow of energy that enables one to act much more effectively than usual and to take initiatives that demand foresight, careful planning and considerable self-confidence. Almost any initiative taken now will work out as wanted, if done with complete and total integrity. It is a good time to start any enterprise.
Actions are governed by a strong sense of integrity. One may be ambitious during this time, but, it is very important to achieve goals correctly and in accordance with ethical standards. Others will recognize the integrity, which will increase their confidence in the driver whose ’scope has this aspect.
Under this influence there will be a strong desire to make something of one’s self in the broadest sense of the term. For example, there is the drive to succeed, particularly in some project that one has started themselves.
This influence also signifies actions aimed at enlarging one’s scope of action, giving one more freedom of movement and creating opportunities for new experience.
This is a good time to approach a persons one does not usually get along or someone who one may have a temporary dispute with and make an effort to settle it. It will be easy to convince the other person of the integrity of your motives because it is true, and they will respect that. If you are involved in a legal controversy, this influence is a good time to settle that dispute on terms favorable to yourself.
I will be focusing on this aspect quite often during the season.
Here is one ’scope in particular that this aspect has a lot of affect on:
Michael Waltrip, born on 30 April 1963
The report was generated for 6 months starting from February 2007 with the following birth data: male, born on 30 April 1963 at 12:00 noon in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Your sun sign is Taurus. This is the sign in which the Sun is in your birth chart. Your Ascendant is in Leo, and your Moon is also in Leo.
Neptune conjunction Descendant:
Theme: Beware of “experts”
Beginning of April 2006 until end of January 2008:
At this time your close, intimate relationships will be difficult and confused. Also you should be very careful about consulting others for advice now, even professionals such as lawyers, marriage counselors or doctors. Of course, not all of these people will give you erroneous information even under this influence, but you would be well advised not to suspend your own critical faculties just because someone else seems to be an “expert.”
A marriage or other partnership will be difficult because communications are unclear now. Perhaps either you or your partner is trying to conceal something from the other. If so, you should stop concealing it as soon as possible, for it can only undermine the confidence you must have in each other. Even if you are concealing something for the other’s “own good,” your partner will not see it that way, and her confidence will still be undermined.
However, you may not be hiding anything. It may just be that communications between you are getting worse. Make sure that you really understand each other, and do not assume that you understand or that anything you say or do is understood automatically. Spontaneous and immediate understanding is not a feature of this influence.
Avoid legal confrontations at this time, if at all possible. Completely unexpected events are likely to happen, which you won’t be prepared for. And your opponent may use underhanded tactics that could hurt your position badly. In general your enemies, if you have any, will be very deceptive during this time. It will be very hard to understand their tactics, let alone deal with them. They may even make false overtures of friendliness to you. Do not treat everyone with suspicion, but don’t take everything at face value either.
Saturn conjunction Ascendant:
Theme: Following through
Mid September 2006 until mid June 2007:
This is one of the most significant times of your life.
During this time your responsibilities will increase considerably, and you will try to eliminate everything in your life that is not necessary to fulfilling them. Therefore your life will become more complex and simpler at the same time. You are finishing up certain tasks in your life and going into a five- to eight-year period of relatively quiet preparation for a new beginning. You will be cutting some elements out of your life and working hard to complete others.
During this time you may have less freedom of movement than usual because of the pressure of circumstances and the need to get things done. Old tasks that have never been completed must be finished now. At work, you may have to exert more effort in order to get the job done. Your superiors may give you even more responsibility than you would choose to have. This may not be a very light-hearted time, but it should be quite productive. But do not start out on a completely new project, because in a few years you may find that you do not have the material or psychological resources to complete it. Finish what is unfinished and simplify your life.
Good relationships will not suffer appreciably during this time, but bad ones will break up completely. You are withdrawing from everything in your life that is unnecessary or in the way of your development during the next few years. Bad or difficult relationships may be among the elements that are discarded.
Try to avoid building a wall between yourself and others, for this is a great danger now. Duty, responsibility and obligations do not preclude personally satisfying relationships, even though you may feel that they do. If you cut yourself off from others unnecessarily, you will become lonely and depressed. The people who belong in your everyday life are very important for you now, especially since you are excluding those who do not belong. Often it is good to seek out the company and advice of older people, for they have the insight and understanding you need.
Saturn opposition Saturn:
Theme: A material peak
End of September 2006 until beginning of July 2007:
If you did not clear away the structures and patterns in your life that were working badly some seven years ago, this influence will be quite difficult. The old failures that you have not handled properly in the last several years will make your life exceedingly difficult now. However, everything that you have handled well will reach a culmination and prove more fruitful than ever before.
In your work you may reach a peak of success, which will be accompanied by increased responsibility. In that case you will work extremely hard but very successfully. On the other hand, you may receive abundant evidence that you are working in the wrong area altogether. This would be manifested by extreme difficulties in your work situation, such as finding your efforts blocked by coworkers or superiors. If your superiors disapprove of your performance, you should completely reevaluate your work. Even if you are doing good work, this may be a signal that the job is inadequate from your point of view. This should not be an occasion for self-doubt and despair. Rest assured that you are supposed to be doing something else.
Best be getting it together Mikey…you are better than what has transpired, and I believe, that when your daughter ask you why you “cheated?” that it was, indeed, one of the most difficult times of your life.
Good luckin the Duel!!

I seem to have picked up either some kind of really horrid bug or am having an extreme reaction to the adrenaline rush I got from the Bud Shootout. I am not sure which it is. I am an adrenaline junky and maybe I overdosed.
Going back to bed..and staying there til I feel better.
I hate kneeling at the porcelain god’s throne.
February 10, 2007 at 10:16 pm · Filed under 24 hour Daytona, Bud Shootout, NASCAR, Tony Stewart
Congrats to Tony for winning the Bud Shootout! There was some great racin‘ there. Slick tires, “ya best get out of my way” types of signals…I loved it. I thought for a moment that Baby Busch was coming along side Tony to tell him how much he appreciated the 8 more laps to go (”excuse me , I have somewhere to go”) bump, but he was a good boy.
I am so glad the season has started. I missed it alot.
I was really sorry that Elliot, Jr., and Denny had the finish they did. They were running so well.
That is one of the things I love so much about the sport. You never know what the outcome will be til the finish line is crossed.
Thanks so much to all the Driver’s that compete so hard. They all deserve applause. Every driver in the Cup has worked very hard to get where they are.
Tony as usual spoke his mind today. I love it! When he said that France n=makes millions or billions (whatever it was) he could at least hire couple people to get the debris off the track without making the driver’s miss practice time. I agree. I also volunteer for the job. Dale and I both.
Ta-ta for now! May the rest of the weekend bring you Love, Light and Blessings!

As Above…So Below!!
Here are the Driver’s who have the most significant aspect’s in their chart’s this evening for the Bud Shootout:
Ryan Newman, born 8 December 1977
Theme: No weak compromises!

Normally this is a very pleasant time with little difficulty. You seek out good times and pleasurable forms of recreation, and you may not feel much like working. In fact, the only real flaw of this influence is that it is not conducive to self-discipline or labor. You will be more interested in your own well-being and in indulging yourself than in accomplishing great works. Obviously, this can be either bad or good according to circumstances. This influence is usually good for all social interaction and for getting along with people. Love relationships are favorably affected. You will not be very self-assertive today. If you find yourself in conflict with someone, you will compromise rather than fight. Only be careful not to give up something that is important to you.
Tony Stewart, born 20 May 1971
Theme: Wrapped up
Weak, transient effect: Today during the day your emotions are strong when dealing with others, which can be either good or bad, depending on how you handle it. On the plus side, it gives you a great deal of sensitivity toward others. You can feel their moods immediately and respond to them so that you are able to fit into any group you are with. You value emotional contacts now, and you project feeling, warmth and concern to others. But on the negative side, this influence can also signify that you are so wrapped up in your moods that you can’t get out of yourself and relate to anyone else. In either case your moods are likely to fluctuate rather rapidly, so do not take your emotions too seriously at this time. You should make an effort to be with others, because forcing yourself to relate will bring out the better side of this influence.
Matt Kenseth, born 10 March 1972
Theme: The last straw

*** During this time you may be much more irritable than usual and snappish with others, even though you cannot consciously recognize what you are angry about. Perhaps the most puzzling effect of this influence is that your irritability and anger seem completely irrational. They may not actually be irrational, but your anger may be about something that happened a while ago. This influence may create events that remind you of past anger that you didn’t show at the time. Now it is revived with such force that you have to show it. In this kind of situation a trivial incident makes you mad simply because it is the “last straw.” You are likely to be more angry with close friends or members of the family than with people you don’t know so well, immediate family being the most likely targets of your anger.
Kurt Busch, born 4 August 1978
Theme: An adequate chance
Tonight you have the capacity to work either with others or alone. If you work with others you will have to have a lot of independence or some kind of leadership role in
order to feel that you have been given an adequate chance. Probably you will get that chance. You have a much greater desire than usual to take the initiative and much stronger feelings of courage and self-reliance. In working with others, you will be able to give them the feeling that your aims are theirs, so that they will work with you more willingly. If you have to defend your point of view when challenged, you will not back down but will argue your case with vigor and passion. Others will respect you for this even when they do not agree. You do not feel any need to make unwarranted attacks in order to maintain yourself.
Dale Jarrett, born 26 November 1956
Theme:Inner excitement
Today during the day you can assert yourself in a positive manner and stand your ground if necessary. You may feel more courage and confidence than usual, which you express by taking the initiative in making emotional contacts with others. You speak very directly and forcefully, but without being offensive, which others will respect you for. You understand what is needed, and you can unify your objectives and theirs, usually by talking them around to your point of view. Whenever you talk with others, you radiate an inner excitement, as if you were ready for immediate action. Under this influence you have the capacity to start projects, although you should keep in mind that this is a short-term influence and its effects will not last long.
Elliot Sadler, born 30 April 1975
Theme: Favors granted
Today you will focus your attention on getting ahead in some way. You feel strong, vigorous and confident. Your relationship with your superiors is good, and they may grant you some favor that will assist you in your efforts. Nevertheless you do not feel dependent upon anyone now, nor do you feel that you need recognition from others. Instead you draw satisfaction from knowing inside yourself what you can do. You have a good understanding of yourself, and the calmness that usually goes along with this influence enables you to plan with a cool head. Your personal and family life are also benefited by this influence, because your personal strength is coupled with a sense of responsibility and the knowledge that you don’t have to take away anything from your loved ones in order to get ahead.
Kyle Busch, born 2 May 1985
Theme: A need for excitement
Today you seek excitement and stimulation through your love relationships, even to the point of provoking a fight. The existing patterns of your relationships will become difficult to deal with even if you know that they are basically constructive. Be careful of being impatient with loved ones, demanding that they gratify your need for excitement, unless of course you want to have an argument. On the other hand, this is a good day for getting things out into the open. This influence can be a test of the flexibility of your relationships. The less flexible they are, the more disruptive this time will be.
Jeff Gordon, born 4 August 1971
Theme: In tune
Weak, transient effect: This morning your personal needs and career needs are balanced, and there will not be as much tension between them as at other times. Also your emotions are in tune with your intentions so that you can go about your business with complete oneness. There is less of the feeling that two sides of you are struggling for mastery over the whole. Under this influence you have a great ability to relate to others on an emotional level, because you feel your emotions so richly yourself. You are sensitive to others’ needs, and you understand how you can use their moods and sensitivities for positive ends. On the other hand, you may choose to retire into your own personal world. The richness of feeling and emotion that this time brings may make you feel like being alone or with only your closest loved ones.
Dale Earnhardt Jr., born 10 October 1974
Theme:Intense feelings
Weak, transient effect: This influence normally indicates a few hours of unusually intense feelings. Tonight you will have a strong desire to know yourself and to experience life largely through the emotion. This is probably not the best time for work that requires a completely clear and dispassionate state of consciousness, but you will not feel like doing that kind of work anyway. You will want to engage your emotions in whatever you do, and you will experience a richness of feeling and inner life that is satisfying in itself. This influence is good for any business matters concerning the general public or for any situation in which you have to appear before the public or a large group. Otherwise it is not an influence that stimulates drive and ambition.
Robby Gordon, born 2 January 1969
Theme:Showing off
Usually this influence makes you feel very social. You enjoy being with your friends and neighbors, talking and exchanging news with them. You may feel a little like showing off, which cannot do any harm in moderation. But whatever you try to show others about your strength, independence and ability to lead, it is clear that today you need others, and you are quite aware of it. Do not try to delude other people about that. They will respect you for being honest, and of course, people like to feel needed. The old line that “No man is an island” has real meaning for you today. If nothing else, you need others to “show off” to, and you need not fear that showing off will alienate people. Unless you are an insufferable braggart to begin with, it will not have that effect at all.
Kasey Kahne, born 10 April 1980
Theme: Keep calm
** The energy of this influence comes rather explosively and may take on a life of its own. Its basic intent is to help you achieve a certain objective or make an impression on the world. But if you feel frustrated for any reason, the energy may be expressed in such a way as to work against your interests, as you would realize if you were in a calmer frame of mind. If you can control yourself during this time, it will help you accomplish a great deal of work. Don’t be afraid to show what you are made of.
Jamie McMurray, born 3 June 1976

YAY!! We get a real race today!! Yay!!!
Theme:Fair exchange
You feel contented and benevolent under this influence. You are at peace with the world and want to share your feelings with everyone whom you meet. Friends, in particular, may be the beneficiaries of your generosity, as you may benefit from theirs. In either case you both will benefit, because everything done under this influence becomes a fair exchange in the long run. This time is favorable for all financial enterprises, especially those involving foreign investments, medicine or the law. Any legal matters decided during this time will also work out to your benefit. A new friendship, or relationship with an employer that begins now will be beneficial. Such a relationship will bring out your best qualities and can truly be described as a growth relationship. You are attracted to high-minded and upright people.
Kevin Harvick, born 8 December 1975
Theme:Personal interchange
This will be a very favorable day for all kinds of communications and personal interchange with others. Even routine connections with friends and neighbors will be very fruitful, for you will be able to get through to each other with greater clarity. This is an excellent day for communicating something important to another person, in which it is necessary to be precisely clear. If you have to present the views of a group and your ideas must be in tune with theirs, this will be a favorable time. But this is also a good day to examine your own goals and expectations. This influence favors all types of commercial transactions, buying and selling or negotiating deals favorably. Today is fine for traveling for any purpose, although you will be best served if it stimulates your mind or has an educational purpose.
Juan Pablo Montoya, born 20 September 1975
Theme: A foggy or very clear day
Valid during several weeks: Today you may feel inclined to keep a secret or hold back information in order to avoid a confrontation with someone. It is not good to do this, because it will only

contribute to the fog of confusion and unclarity that surrounds you during this time. For the same reasons, avoid any form of misrepresentation or distortion of the truth, even if you think it might be politic to mislead someone. In every way you should strive to keep all your communication and thinking clear, lucid, factual and rooted in the real world. If you try to avoid confrontations by acting evasively under this influence, you will run up against even more demoralizing confrontations later. Also be careful in any kind of negotiations or business dealings today, because you could be the victim of misrepresentation, even if you are not the perpetrator.
Everything else in Juan Pablo’s chart looks very good. I mean very good. For a long, long time…
Onward LugNutz!!
Let the racing begin!
Onward!!

Congrat’s to you both!!

The time has finally come…we are down to the wire…only a few more day’s until NASCAR Season is upon us!! The wait is nearly over!! The
Daytona 500 is finally here!!
I have been given the opportunity to review Dale Jr.’s BACK IN THE DAY, entire season 1 DVD set. As a relatively new fan of only about a decade short a couple of years:) NASCAR history was not there for me. I, being a history buff anyway, had become obsessed with finding out as much as I could. Well, what I found out, is there is a lot to find out. This sport has some seriously interesting history. The DVD set gives any fan, a good background in NASCAR history if they don’t already know it, and a lot of memories for those who do. It gave me a tremendous respect for the “old timers”.
BACK IN THE DAY was based on the vintage racing footage from the old program, “Car and Track”. The footage, mostly from the 60’s and 70’s. You can watch driver’s like Richard Petty, Bobby Allison and David Pearson drive like the “good ol’boys” drove. Find out what the term “Old School” really means.
The NASCAR of today and the NASCAR then were the same yet very, very different. The “Old School” driver’s went out there to win and that was it. They won any way they could. The rivalries were real and the respect was real. Temper’s blew like bombs. “Cheating” was “Creative Engineering” and not vice versa. They were out there to kick butt, no matter how it was done.
The safety precautions that were not there, and the speeds those driver’s went blow my mind. I think there is a fine line between brave and crazy sometimes. When Darrell Waltrip say “bad fast” or “crazy fast” it can be decided in today’s terms but really applied to the “old days”. You had to be bad fast and crazy to do what those MEN did.
One of the other things that I really enjoy is the “trivia” and what was “Going on in the World” bubble that are injected through out each episode. It, number one, makes me think of what I remember about that time, shows me I am wrong ( “Hey I thought I was in Jr. high then, not High School”) in my own time line…makes me feel old and young at the same time and reminds me of the things I forgot. Teaches me things I didn’t know. I loved every moment I watched of the entire season set.
The DVD set is put together absolutely beautifully. It includes every episode of BACK IN THE DAY plus some bonus footage of Jr. that I am not going to share. The 3 doors Down music video with Jr. and Tony Stewart is on the set. It’s too good. Buy the DVD set and find out for yourself. (NO. I am not making any money off this, in case the thought crosses your mind)
Since we all know you are just dying for something to keep you occupied…I am going to give you something, besides the Super Bowl to do to celebrate the return of our Sacred Sport’s season. **Takeout Marketing, the company that **A&E and **JRMOTORSPORTS hired to promote the video, has provided me with 2 of the DVD sets to give away.

Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes and cards. You all made my day very special!!
I received this joke from my blog buddy Yellow Dog Granny in an email today. Got a good laugh out of it myself:
A man boarded an airplane and took his seat. As he settled in, he glanced up and saw an unusually beautiful woman boarding the plane He soon realized she was heading straight toward his seat. Lo and behold, she took the seat right beside his.Eager to strike up a conversation, he blurted out, “Business trip or vacation?”
She turned, smiled, and said, “Business. The annual Sexual Education Convention in Chicago.”
He swallowed hard. Here was the most gorgeous woman he had ever seen, sitting next to him, and she was going to a meeting for sex education!
Struggling to maintain his composure, he calmly asked, “What’s your business role at this convention?”
“Lecturer,” she responded. “I use my experience to debunk some of the popular myths about sexuality.”
“Really,” he said. “What myths are those?”"Well,” she explained. “One popular myth is that African American men are the most well endowed, when in fact, it’s the Native American Indian who is most likely to possess that trait.”
“Another popular myth is that French men are the best lovers, when actually it is the men of Jewish descent.
We have, however, found that the best potential lover in all categories is the Southern Redneck.”
Suddenly, the woman became a little uncomfortable and blushed “I’m sorry”, she said. “I shouldn’t really be discussing this with you. I don’t even know your name.”
“Tonto,” the man said. “Tonto Goldstein, but my friends call me Bubba.”
**I do not know where the original content of this joke came from. If this is copyrighted material and I have accidentally violated someones copyright, please contact me through the email envelope on the blog and I will promptly remove it, and a published apology would immediately follow.
